Massachusetts on Thursday reported 2,703 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 61 deaths in the last week. The Department of Public Health also said Wednesday that 12,706 vaccinations, including booster shots, had been administered in a week.
The state reported Thursday that 458 patients were hospitalized with COVID-19. The seven-day percent positivity was 4.85 percent.
In July, the state announced it would be reducing case, death, and vaccination reporting from five days a week to one day a week.
As of July 11, 2022, the state Department of Public Health releases coronavirus case, death, and hospitalization data once per week, on Thursdays.
